MDOT hurricane evacuation guide now available
The Mississippi Department of Transportation is releasing more details on its 2026 hurricane evacuation guide.
It’s available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese and includes a hurricane emergency checklist.
The guide includes evacuation maps and can also be downloaded or ordered online by clicking here.
Additionally, evacuation guides will be distributed through newspapers in early June with additional copies available at city halls, libraries, community centers, and major employers on the Mississippi Coast.
