One local business helping Ocean Springs firefighters clean their masks

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- In Ocean Springs, the fire department is thanking one business for help cleaning up face pieces.

Tony Murphy with 1-800-Board Up brought an ultrasonic clearer to the department, helping to reduce mask exposure to dangerous materials that firefighters face on the job.

This gesture comes after the fire at Wasabi Japanese Cuisine last week.

The Ocean Springs Fire Department says they are currently pursuing grant opportunities to purchase the vital equipment themselves.
