Long Beach mayor highlights projects going on in the city

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- Long Beach Mayor Tim Pierce is highlighting several infrastructure projects underway or about to get started in the community.

These projects aim to improve drainage and protect the community.

The Park Row Project is moving along while the Briarwood and Parkwood drainage project is underway.

He shares the Rosalie Drainage Project is set to break ground very soon.

These projects are all about reducing flooding concerns, improving water flow, and investing in the long-term resilience of the city.

In addition, the Long Beach Board of Alderman has officially executed contracts to improve three pump stations, which will play a critical role in strengthening the overall drainage system.
