Remembering crime victims at annual candlelight vigil in South Mississippi
Local law enforcement leaders gathered Tuesday morning to remember and reconnect with victims of crime in our region.
The annual Candlelight Vigil for Crime Victims is put on each year by the District Attorney’s Office for the 2nd Circuit Court District of Mississippi.
Organizers say this event is a way for victims and the families of victims to reconnect with those who helped them find justice, and as a way to recommit to the pursuit of justice for those impacted by violence.
This event is held each year in conjunction with National Crime Victims Rights Week.
