Representative Ezell honors fallen Jackson County Deputy Michael Jimerson
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WXXV)- Representative Mike Ezell took time last week to honor the life and service of Deputy Michael Jimerson.
Deputy Jimerson was killed in the line of duty on the night of April 1 while responding to a call.
Representative Ezell says as the former sheriff of Jackson County, this one hit close to home.
He adds Deputy Jimerson put on a badge each day knowing the risks, making the ultimate sacrifice.
Representative Ezell says we owe Deputy Jimerson and all our law enforcement officers a debt we can never fully repay. He asks the community to keep Deputy Jimerson’s family, friends, and fellow deputies in their prayers.
