Wiggins Walmart Supercenter evacuated due to ruptured gas line
Wiggins, Miss. (WXXV)- Around 3 this morning, the Wiggins Fire Department responded to a reported ruptured gas line at Walmart.
Personnel confirmed the gas line was located outside the store and had been accidentally struck.
As a safety measure, the store was evacuated. The Walmart will remain closed until the damaged gas line is repaired and the area is deemed safe by the local gas company.
Once repairs are finished, Walmart will resume normal business operations.
