George County Library donates to correctional facility

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The George County Sheriff’s Office is giving thanks for a donation.

The George County Library donated ten crates of books to the regional correctional facility.

The sheriff’s department says this contribution for the inmate library plays a vital role in providing inmates access to educational and spiritual resources.

These resources can support personal growth, rehabilitation, and positive change.
