Damage reports come in following early Saturday morning storms

HARRISON COUNTY/JACKSON COUNTY, Miss (WXXV)– Initial damage reports from some agencies are coming in following a line of strong storms that moved through South Mississippi Saturday morning.
Harrison County Fire Rescue officials spent much of the morning clearing downed trees and power lines.
Firefighters also responded to one house fire related to a lightning strike, and Biloxi Fire has also reported one home with lightning strike damage as well.
Jackson County Fire Protection crews also worked this morning to put out a fire caused by a lightning strike at a home on Lamey Road in the Latimer community. No injuries were reported there.
