Pass Christian Softball punches ticket to Round Three of Playoffs with 1-0 win over Mendenhall

After a 12-0 win over Mendenhall Thursday night, the Pass Christian Lady Pirates are looking to clinch the series at home on Friday night. Mississippi’s Pitching Queen starts off in the circle, and she gets all three outs in the top of the first with three strikeouts.

Jones would go on to kick start the Pirate hitting with a two-out single to center field. Mia Lacy would come right behind her with a hard hit two second base forcing her to make an error. Kaylee Cobern’s hard hit line drive to right field would send Jones home for the first and only run of the game as the Pirates advance to Round Three with a 1-0 final score.
