Pascagoula police chief talks department growth

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- Pascagoula’s police chief spent much of the morning Friday talking about policing in the Flagship City at the Jackson County Chamber’s latest area council.

Chief Terry Scott shared updates at the event on certain department initiatives, as well as challenges the department is working through.

One bright spot the chief talked about is the city’s new police substation on the eastern side of town.

That substation was made possible through a three-and-a-half million-dollar public safety grant.
