New process at the Keesler Medical Center Pharmacy

The Keesler Medical Center Pharmacy is now doing fill-in advance. This allows staff to activate prescriptions for you.

Anyone picking up at the pharmacy can expect a text message 30 minutes after their MTF appointment.

It can also be after the provider puts in the prescription; this is to alert you the pharmacy is working on your medication.

A second text will be sent out when your prescription is ready to be picked up. It can be expected about 30 minutes or an hour later.

If there is an issue filling the medication, you will be alerted by text as well.

When the medicine is ready, you need to return to the main pharmacy and join the line.

Anyone who does not receive their first text is advised to text 833-464-1352 to check their status.
