Kidnapping sentence

Today a habitual offender was sentenced to 30 years in prison for charges of kidnapping.
In February 2016, 41-year-old Maurice Pugh grabbed a woman by her neck outside of Club Blue Envy in Gulfport and carried her away. When he was spotted he ran from officials. He was caught a short time later.
The defendant will serve the entire 30 years without the possibility of parole or early release.
