Lucedale firefighter recognized by rotary club

The Lucedale Fire Department announced a member of their department was honored by the Rotary Club.

Trey Hill brings experience in both firefighting and emergency medical response.

He has served George County with district three, currently holding the position of fire chief with the Barton Volunteer Fire Department.

Hill recently completed the first phase of his hazardous materials at the State Fire Academy.

The department says since he joined the team, he has demonstrated a strong work ethic and commitment to always being prepared.

Hill has dedicated hours to studying and training to meet academic and physical agility required for the profession.
