Ocean Springs Board to discuss bike/pedestrian master plan
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Ocean Springs Board of Aldermen is set to reconsider a 2018 Jackson County bicycle and pedestrian master plan.
Ward 4 Boardmember Shannon Pfeiffer says the county’s 2018 plan is a strong framework to improve accessibility in the city, but that at least one public workshop will be needed to account for newly annexed areas and residents of the city.
The board also has plans to work on an e-bike ordinance to govern the use of those vehicles within city limits.
These discussions are expected to take place at Tuesday’s board meeting.
