Gulfport city leaders celebrate opening of sportsplex at Isiah Fredricks Community Center
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- A new chapter begins in North Gulfport as city leaders celebrate the opening of the Gulfport Sportsplex at the Isiah Fredericks Community Center.
The new complex brings expanded recreation space designed to support youth athletics and family engagement year round.
City officials say the project is a long-term investment in neighborhood growth, wellness, and opportunities for local athletes.
Leaders also credit community partnership and local advocates for helping turn the vision into a reality for north Gulfport.
