One dead, one injured in accident on I-10 in Harrison County
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- One person is dead and another is injured after a one-vehicle accident on I-10 westbound in Harrison County.
According to D’Iberville Police Chief Griffin, the vehicle was traveling westbound when it went off the road to the right and struck the concrete pylon holding the overpass.
The driver has been identified as 79-year-old Joseph Lasalandra of Ocean Springs. He was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma.
The passenger has been identified as his wife. She was taken to a local hospital for her injuries.
