Palace Casino Resort donates to local organizations

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Two coastal charities received a major boost thanks to the generous casino guests at the Palace Casino Resort.

Palace Casino Resort recently donated over $44,000 to Center Stage Theatre and Back Bay Mission. 

The funds come from customers who chose to donate their spare change instead of receiving coins when cashing out at slot machines.

Center Stage Theatre received over $18,000 and Back Bay Mission was awarded more than $25,000.

The donations will help support arts education and provide critical services like shelter and food assistance for those in need.
