Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce opens 2026 Small Business Grant applications

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for its 2026 Small Business Grant Program, offering financial support to local businesses across the Coast.

Applications officially opened March 25 and will remain open through 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026.

This year’s program includes grant opportunities through the Biloxi, Gulfport, Long Beach, and Pass Christian Chambers of Commerce, as well as additional funding opportunities through Coast Young Professionals and Military One Coast initiatives.

Grant awards will begin at $500, providing meaningful assistance to small businesses looking to grow, improve operations, or invest in new opportunities.

The program is designed to strengthen the local economy by supporting small businesses that serve as the backbone of the Mississippi Gulf Coast community. Eligible applicants must:

  • Be a current member in good standing with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce
  • Operate a business with 50 or fewer full-time employees
  • Be located within eligible service areas, including Biloxi, Gulfport, Long Beach, and Pass Christian

Applicants are required to submit a completed application along with supporting documentation, including a W-9 form and materials that describe their business.

“When we invest in small businesses, we invest in jobs, innovation, and the long-term strength of our region,” said Dr. Benjamin Weldon, CEO of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce. “This program is one more way we’re backing the business owners who keep our communities strong and our economy moving forward.”

All applications must be submitted by the deadline to be considered. Completed applications may be emailed or delivered to the Chamber office.
