Racers participate in annual Deborah Washington Memorial Soap Box Derby in Moss Point
MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)- Downtown Moss Point was transformed into a derby course Saturday morning for an annual event.
The Deborah Memorial Washington Soap Box Derby has been a tradition in the River City since 1992 and honors the memory of Deborah Washington, who helped found the event.
Soap box racers competed on the course for bragging rights and awards in a variety of age groups and categories.
