As temps continue to rise, a few showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon. A low-pressure and associated cold front will begin to move into the area from the west tonight providing for showers and thunderstorms mainly after midnight through Friday. HEAVY RAIN along with the potential for a FEW SEVERE STORMS will affect the region with the POSSIBILITY for 1-3” of rainfall. FLASH FLOODING from HEAVY RAIN will be the main threat…along with the slight possibility for SMALL HAIL, STRONG STRAIGHT-LINE WINDS and of course…TORNADIC ACTIVITY. The activity will begin to tapper-off Friday afternoon as the cold front moves through the area Friday night. Clouds will continue through Saturday morning with clearing around midday…
