Team Lightning 12272 gearing up for first World Championship appearance in Houston

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV) — Team Lightning 12272, a robotics organization located on the Mississippi Coast, is gearing up for its first World Championship appearance.

The event takes place in Houston from April 29th through May 2nd.

Team members Austin Benda, Joey Quick and Alexis Noble as well as team president and West Harrison Middle School robotics teacher Brenden Phillips joined WXXV News 25’s Elizabeth Keen to talk about the opportunity.
