Long Beach declares Public Safety Telecommunicators Week
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- Long Beach Mayor Tim Pierce declared April 12 through the 18 as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.
That proclamation was made during Tuesday’s board of aldermen meeting.
This week honors those behind the scenes workers who receive and dispatch first responders.
The City of Long Beach says they appreciate their dispatchers and all they do to serve the community.
