Fire hydrant testing continues in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The Long Beach Fire Department reminds residents their fire hydrant tests continue this week.
This is state mandated and is an important part of keeping hydrants in proper working order.
Fire crews will be flowing hydrants in various areas this week, officials warning you may notice temporary brown or discolored water due to sediment in the lines.
It is advised you avoid washing clothes if you notice discolored water, you can run your water until the color clears.
