One injured in shooting in Gautier

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV)-Gautier police are currently investigating a shooting.

Authorities say at least one person was injured and taken to a local hospital by a private vehicle. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.

The shooting happened on Kingfisher Drive in Gautier.

Authorities believe they may have identified persons of interest, though no arrests have been confirmed.

The scene is contained, but remains active as officers continue to gather evidence.
