William Carey University partners with ‘One Pill can Kill’ initiative
Another Mississippi college has joined the Mississippi attorney general’s ‘One Pill can Kill’ initiative.
William Carey University faculty, staff, and students received training on how to recognize an overdose and administer naloxone.
Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office also provided 300 fentanyl harm prevention kits that include test strips, gloves, disposal bags, and pill identification cards.
The program is designed to equip students and campus leaders with tools to respond quickly and safely in opioid related emergencies.
