Wiggins Fire Department conducts training

WIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Wiggins Fire Department spent Good Friday training.

Firefighters conducted pump operations training along with drafting from a water source.

Fire officials say drafting is the process of pulling water from an unconventional source such as a pond. This is done when access to a traditional water supply is not available.

Training on these skills makes sure the fire department can establish and maintain a continuous water supply in any situation.
