Pascagoula basketball’s Tamir Boykin signs with East Central Community College

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV) A state champion-worthy signing day took place at Pascagoula High School on Saturday.

Panthers center and power forward Tamir Boykin officially signed to continue his career at East Central Community College. The senior played a major role in helping Goula to a 28-6 overall record, including a perfect 12-0 in district play.

The year ended with history being made, as the Panthers captured the state title for the first time in program history.

“Going to East Central, it’s like a brotherhood there,” Boykin said when discussing his decision to play with the Warriors. He added that attending the school is a blessing, and he’s thankful to God and his family for their support.
