Students at Harrison Central Elementary celebrate ‘Ninja Warrior Day’

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Harrison Central Elementary students began their fitness journey with a little help from a real-life American Ninja Warrior.

Thursday morning, Ryan Stratis led students through obstacle challenges after the school won a statewide fitness drawing.

This event was made possible through Project Fit America and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of the Mississippi Foundation.

Students tested their strength, endurance, and confidence, while learning the importance of staying active.

The day was more than just a P.E. lesson to these students; it was about instilling the belief that they can overcome any obstacle in life.
