Vancleave baseball evens the series with 1-0 extra inning walk-off over Stone
It’s Alumni Night at “The Landing” as the Vancleave Baseball teams hosts the Stone Tomcats for game two of their regional series. The Tomcats lead the series 1-0 after a 4-1 win Tuesday night. It’d be a pitcher’s duel along with hits unable to be strung together as the game extends to extra innings. Vancleave would walk it off in the form of a Conner Mitchell RBI double to score the one and only run of the night. Sophomore Carter Fazzio pitched all eight shutout innings for the Bulldogs. The third and series deciding game will take place Saturday, April 4th at Stone High School with a 1pm first pitch.
