We’re counting down the days until opening day at Keesler Federal Park, and what better way to prepare for the big moment than an exhibition with a prestigious program. The Biloxi Shuckers hosted the Pearl River Wildcats on a beautiful Wednesday night to help them gear up for their 2026 Season.

The Biloxi Shuckers earned a 14-2 win over the Pearl River Community College Wildcats in the team’s lone exhibition game prior to Opening Day on Friday, April 3, against the Rocket City Trash Pandas.

The Wildcats opened the scoring in the first with an RBI single from Logan Fontenelle, but the Shuckers struck back in the bottom of the frame with a bases-loaded two-RBI single from Matthew Wood, giving the Shuckers a 2-1 lead. They later extended the lead to 3-1 in the third after Blake Burke smacked a 109 MPH, 393-foot home run to left-center.
