Veterans memorial fully restored in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- Restoration work at the Veterans Memorial at the Harper McCaughan Town Green in Long Beach has officially been completed.
This memorial sustained significant damage during Hurricane Zeta.
After receiving approval through FEMA, the necessary repairs and improvements were able to move forward.
The special space has been fully restored, once again standing as a place of dedication to recognizing and remembering the brave men and women who served our country during World War II.
Long Beach Mayor Tim Pierce says she’s glad the memorial is finally back in great condition.
