Harrison County Sheriff’s Office holding benefit for deputy battling cancer

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office announced a benefit for Process Deputy Gail McDougal, happening Thursday.

McDougal is currently battling stage three breast cancer.

This benefit takes place at the Harrison County Courthouse parking garage in Gulfport from 11 to 1 p.m.

Jambalaya and pulled pork plates will be sold for $10. Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted as payment.

All money from this benefit is going towards McDougal’s medical expenses and assisting her family.
