Mississippi Heroes launches ‘Ramp it up 100’ initiative

The Mississippi Heroes organization is launching a new initiative as they continue to build more and more wheelchair ramps for more Coast residents in need.

The organization, through the Ramp it Up 100 program, is recruiting 100 local businesses, organizations, and people to contribute to the cause. The goal is to raise $50,000 over the next few weeks and months to help kick start some building projects they have on the horizon.

Building one full ramp for a family typically runs between two to three thousand dollars.
