Ocean Springs Students Facing Sexual Assault Charges

Two Ocean Springs High School students are facing sexual assault charges.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department says the assault happened on campus.
A female student disclosed to a teacher that she had been sexually assaulted by two male students the previous day at school. The two male students accused of the assault were both expelled from the school for the rest of the school year.
One of the suspects was arrested on May 11th and is currently in the Jackson County Youth Detention Center. The other male suspect has not been arrested at this time.
The case will be presented to the grand jury when the investigation is complete.
