Mayor Keating discusses Gulfport’s annexation plans
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- A huge construction project is in the works on the northeast corner of Highway 49 and 53. MDOT crews have redesigned the interchange, including adding lanes.
That property is just north of the Gulfport city limits and the city has petitioned to annex the 250-acre site.
The rumor is: a Walmart Super Center is on the way.
