Members of Mississippi’s Congressional Delegation react to ‘Operation Epic Fury’

Members of Mississippi’s Congressional Delegation have responded to the United States strikes on Iran, strike’s which killed Iran’s Supreme Leader.

Congressman Mike Ezell said in part that Iran is facing the consequences of its dangerous actions over the course of decades and that the protection of American citizens and service members is the top priority.

Senator Roger Wicker echoed Ezell’s sentiments, calling the operation a pivotal and necessary action to protect Americans and American interest in the Middle East, and praising the operation’s goals of destabilizing Iran’s nuclear and military capabilities.

Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith responded to the operation by saying that it was a decisive move by President Trump, which she says sends a clear message that the United States and our allies will not tolerate Iranian aggression and destabilization of the Middle East.
