Alabama man pleads guilty to 2022 burglary in Ocean Springs
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- An Alabama man will spend just under 20 years behind bars after pleading guilty to burglary and weapons possession charges in Jackson County after a 2022 burglary.
Fifty-four-year-old Thomas Wade will serve ten years on the charges. The sentences will be served consecutively to a sentence he’s serving on other charges in Alabama.
Wade was caught on video breaking into an Ocean Springs liquor store on July 30, 2022, stealing a gun and cash box in the process.
Wade was later identified by a store employee who had seen him at the store before and was extradited back to Mississippi after being taken into custody on these charges.
Wade will not be eligible for early release or parole on these charges.
