Biloxi firefighters taking part in TECC course

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The Biloxi Fire Department shared updates on three firefighters taking part in a tactical emergency casualty care course.

Firefighters Shiloh Snow, Austin Halat, and Christian Davis are attending the course at the State Fire Academy.

The training prepares first responders to deliver life-saving care in high threat areas.

The class covers hemorrhage control, airway stabilization, triage, patient movement, and a full-scale mass casualty simulation.

All three were joined by Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan, his decades in experience bring a valuable perspective to the class.
