University of Mississippi Medical Center severely impacted by cyberattack
JACKSON, Miss. (WXXV)- Operations throughout the University of Mississippi Medical Center have been severely impacted by a cyberattack today.
Notably, all UMMC clinic locations are closed today and all outpatient procedures and appointments are canceled.
The attack has prevented UMMC staff from accessing patient medical records.
Health system officials are expected to update the public later today on this matter.
