The St. Patrick Boys are headed to the State Championship with a thrilling 3-1 overtime victory!

The St. Patrick Fighting Irish Boys Soccer team hosted Presbyterian Christian School for the Class I South State Championship!

After a scoreless first half, Kingston Davis regained possession and passed it down field to Lucas Kurihara who drilled one into the net for the first goal of the night! The whole team joined him on the sidelines to celebrate.

They experienced a heartbreak during the game, as the Bobcats scored in additional time.

Overtime for the Irish just meant more time to score! Senior Payton Taylor scored not once, but twice in overtime to send St. Patrick to the State Championship with a final score of 3-1!

They will now face St. Andrews Friday night at 7pm.
