Pier improvement project begins in Pascagoula

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- In Pascagoula, the Beach Park Pier Improvement Project begins Monday.

This project will replace and upgrade handrails and decking along part of the pier.

Improvements include new ADA-compliant handrails and flow-through decking, enhancing accessibility, safety, and durability.

The pier will be closed to the public while this work is being done.
