Biloxi man faces domestic assault charges in Hawaii
HILO, Hawaii (WXXV)- A South Mississippi man is facing charges in Hawaii after a series of domestic assault incidents last month.
The Hawaii County Prosecutors Office says 25-year-old Jaiden Becerra of Biloxi was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday on felony charges of kidnapping, felony abuse, and sexual assault.
He’s accused of abusing multiple family members between January 22 and 29th in Hilo, Hawaii.
Police there took him into custody on the 29th.
The most serious charge in the case, kidnapping, carries up to 20 years in prison.
Becerra is currently being held without bail and his trial is scheduled to begin on June 22.
