Memorial Hospital hosts Mardi Gras celebration, box float contest

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV) — Memorial Hospital in Gulfport brought the Carnival spirit to its hallways with a Mardi Gras celebration and box float contest.

Departments teamed up to create elaborate box floats, and a winner was chosen by a panel of celebrity judges from the community. Staff members also enjoyed food, king cake and music.
