Restoring the historic Markham Hotel in Downtown Gulfport
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- It is one of the most ambitious and watched restoration projects in recent years in South Mississippi.
The eight story Markham Hotel in Downtown Gulfport was built in 1926 and opened a year later.
Lodging and Leisure Investments owns the buildings and they’ve been restoring it. The Markham will soon have a new chapter in its rich history.
