2/6 – Sunny and warm weekend ahead

Clear skies tonight will allow temperatures to fall into the low 40s and upper 30s across South Mississippi. Sunshine dominates Saturday and Sunday, with afternoon highs in the low 60s both days. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 30s and 40s, keeping mornings cool but comfortable.
The warming trend begins Monday, with highs climbing into the upper 60s under partly sunny skies. Clouds gradually increase on Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures reach the upper 60s to low 70s. A few isolated showers will be possible beginning late Tuesday afternoon, with additional spotty rain chances on Wednesday. By later in the week, temperatures remain above normal in the upper 60s to low 70s with a mix of sun and clouds, and only slight rain chances lingering into Friday.
