Mardi Gras parade preparations begin in Biloxi

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Public works crews in Biloxi were hard at work getting city hall ready for some of the city’s upcoming parades.

The viewing stand is going up outside Biloxi City Hall as it does for each carnival.

The revelry begins in Biloxi on February 14 when the Second Liners Mardi Gras Club parades through East Biloxi and later that night the Krewe of Neptune rolls through the downtown area.

The Gulf Coast Carnival Association rolls downtown on Mardi Gras Day, February 17.
