Woodside Wildlife Rescue in Pass Christian releases rehabilitated Bald Eagle
PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WXXV)- A rescued Bald Eagle is getting a second chance at freedom on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
After months of rehabilitation, the bird was released back into the wild in Pass Christian on Monday.
After getting sick in the wild, Bill the Bald Eagle was saved and nursed back to health and is now back flying again, feeling better than ever.
Woodside Wildlife Rescue specializes in caring for injured and orphaned wildlife with the goal of returning animals back to their natural habitats whenever possible.
For the staff, it’s a powerful reminder that conservation efforts can make a difference, one animal at a time.
