Three more deaths confirmed due to weather-related impacts in Mississippi

Governor Tate Reeves continues to share updates on reports regarding the winter storm in Mississippi.

Governor Reeves says that three more deaths have been confirmed in Tate County. That brings the death toll to seven statewide.

Emergency crews continue to work to clear the major interstates. MDOT will be milling the ice and continuing to treat the roads throughout the day.

There are still 117,800 without power.

MEMA has received reports of 208 homes, five businesses, and seven farms damaged statewide.

The governor will be holding a press conference this afternoon to provide more updates.
