Pinning ceremony for new leadership at Biloxi Police Department

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Biloxi’s new police department leadership was ceremonially pinned Tuesday in a ceremony at the Lopez-Quave Public Safety Center.

Mayor FoFo Gilich recognized new Police Chief Chris De Back and also introduced the department’s new deputy chief, Grandver Everett.

De Back was approved as the city’s next chief by the city council last week.

Assistant Chief Everett is also a veteran of the force in Biloxi, serving in various roles in his time with the department.
