Mississippi Aquarium opening at noon
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Mississippi Aquarium is opening a few hours later than normal due to the weather.
The facility will now open at noon today.
In terms of caring for the animals in this weather, aquarium officials say all habitats onsite are temperature controlled and those animals who are sensitive to temperature changes will be moved to an indoor facility to keep them safe.
